The article examines the relationship between pedagogical tests and sports results at competitive distances, in kayaking. A well-grounded complex of informative has been developed, which should be used to orient athletes for distances 200, 500, 1000 m, when building a training process stages preliminary specialized basic training. For orientation stage kayaking, are offered that have high probability correlation with distances. To determine ability rowers sprint 200 experts suggest using characterizing power qualities, maximum endurance, as well speed capabilities. Athletes who demonstrate m higher indicators efficiency metabolic processes conditions intense work. When increasing passing tests, capabilities, level activity anaerobic deployment functional reactions under test loads laboratory observed. group specializing distance 500 is characterized by productivity, this differs from other groups priority general physical training, strength endurance.
